"Chicken & Dumpling" is a husband-and wife acoustic blues duo featuring Charles “Chicken” Oriel on guitar and Julia “Dumpling” Simon on bass.  Chicken & Dumpling plays the down-home, delta-style blues of Robert Johnson, Big Bill Broonzy, and Muddy Waters, in addition to the classic women’s blues of Bessie Smith and Sippie Wallace.  Chicken & Dumpling also covers contemporary blues artists like Bonnie Raitt and Eric Clapton, as well as some jazz standards and popular songs.
