Crafted with real pumpkin puree and a balanced blend of cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and clove, this small-batch ale captures the spirit of the season and pays tribute to one of Mare Island’s most famous ghost stories.
Enjoy a pint of this hauntingly good release on tap, and if you’re feeling brave, register for our limited ghost tour, which has only ever been offered to our Yardbird Beer Club members until now.
The tour is a short evening walk to Building 77, where the story behind this beer first took shape. Our founder, Kent Fortner, will share the history and mystery of Lt. Cmdr. Samuel Wilson, whose misplaced remains were discovered in the building years after his death, sparking a legend that continues to haunt Mare Island’s history.
