Vallejo Pista Sa Nayon—now in it's 40th year—is an annual Filipino cultural festival celebrating community, heritage, and tradition through food, music, dance, and storytelling.

By the 1930s, hundreds of Filipino workers were helping power Mare Island Naval Shipyard—part of a community that would grow to as many as 1,500 Filipino shipyard workers by 1942.
